The 30-strong Sarto group of fashion artisans are drawing attention for their skill at reforming Western-style clothing item by item, from elegant dresses to all kinds of casual wear. They have recently starting taking in bags and shoes as well to provide a total service. Their technique is so good that even top European brands are coming to them for help. Stylists and boutiques are taking note of the global reputation and following Sarto's activities closely. The secret to the popularity is that Sarto doesn't only adjust for size - it also redesigns clothing to match the current trends. Group leader Seiya Dan checks the European trade shows and collections to gather information and hone his sensitivity. He also dispatches staff to the genuine Italian sartoria to polish their skills. He launched his long-cherished made-to-order service two years ago. We report on the passion of Sarto and how this group is gaining a foothold in the fashion world on the basis of sheer skill.
