Takeshi this time visits Naka Bokunen, a print artist who lives in Okinawa Prefecture in the far south of the Japanese archipelago and depicts the Okinawan nature and people's ways of life. Takeshi's eye is caught by the sheer life force that emerges from Bokunen's amazing prints, which seem almost touched by the gods, and Takeshi tries his own hand at chiseling for the first time in 50 years! With what results!?

This is going to sound weird, but when Bokunen sits down in front of a blank woodblock, isn't it kind of like he is a badger or some other animal digging for food or treasure? There is something buried in there. It's like there is something valuable down there, Bokunen digs until he reveals it.
