NIPPON STYLE: A Japanese artisan in Paris fashion
Yasuhiro Mihara, Designer
Yasuhiro Mihara, who became a shoe designer after graduating from Tama Art University's Faculty of Art and Design, exhibits his artisan's spirit by still making wooden lasts himself. Since 2007, he has been exhibiting his full fashion range at the Paris collection. We delve into the secrets of Mihara's success. Unlike most Japanese designers, Mihara relies on local staff for his collections and showrooms. In his latest 2012 Autumn/Winter collection, he collaborated with the 11th generation Kyoto-based Nishijin brocade maker Hosoo and Company to create clothing with a strikingly Japanese sensibility. After each show, the designer always listens carefully to what the buyers, journalists and fashion executives have to say. We'll take you behind the scenes to show you the reality of the hardship and the fulfillment of this international designer.

I can't re-post files, sorry. The exception is files that are less than a day old. All mediafire links are broken forever. If you ask nicely and show that you tried but couldn't find the file elsewhere, someone may share it again.
