I'm sorry but the download sites of this filehost are - at my end - extremely laborious and slow. Every one I've tried until now wants to coerce me to "upgrade to premium" in order to get reasonable download speed. If I don't comply, I get knocked back to "wait here 60 seconds" and "wait there 30 seconds" or "wait x minutes y seconds til next download" and so on. And when the download finally starts, it takes at least 30 minutes or, in one case, 3(!) hours(!). That's like downloading via modem or ISDN, for chrissake!

ReplyDeleteYeah most of the hosts on this one suck. Is this episode incomplete? It just cuts off and I have dled it 3 times. Yes, most of the hosts on this one suck. Multiple waits crap speeds or nothing at all without signing up for service. I think maybe we should be getting checksum so we can verify the download.

time to dump go4up they have started blocking users based on client and installed components. I will not stop my add blocker and security software, I will not open my system to possible exploits.

ReplyDeletei have firefox + adblock plus and get a message asking to disable adblock but all i have to do is click the "ok" in the popup and then it just pick a site as normal. meaning adblock is still running and blocking ads etc so its a 1 second annoyance only for me.
so curious what else is actually causing you to not be able to download at all.
maybe he is using noscripts.. i have to enable scripts for go4up but otherwise no issues. firefox+adblock here too.
DeleteJust adblock and the element addon for ABP. It is a random block where it blacks out the page. I later on got the click ok to get past thing allowing me to access the content.
