EARTH DEFENSE FORCES 3 PORATBLE, the newest version in a series, went on sale in Japan in September with international release due before the end of this year. We feature the EARTH DEFENSE FORCE series that is now attracting a lot of attention. The latest version is for PlayStation®Vita and an enhanced remake of EARTH DEFENSE FORCES 3 (Xbox) with new weapons and enemies plus online play! D3 PUBLISHER released the first, The Earth Defense Force for PlayStation2®, in 2003 as part of the Simple 2000 Series. The low price of 2,100 yen and high quality have helped to make it record long-running hit among special effect fans and series sales now stand at 1.5 million copies worldwide. Special effect film director Minoru Kawasaki has made a live-action promotion video. EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 4, the first new videogame in the series in 7 years, is due out in 2013!
EARTH DEFENSE FORCE is the place to cooperate or fight online! The series just keeps on evolving.

Creator's interview: Masayuki Miyaji Japanese Animation Director

Miyaji studied animation at Higashi Koganei Son Jyuku in classes organized by Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki himself singled him out to work as an assistant director on SPIRITED AWAY at the age of 25. Miyaji directed his own first film, the web animation Xam'd: Lost Memories (produced by BONES INC.) in 2008 and his latest cartoon film, Fuse - Memoirs of the Hunter Girl, based on the novel, Fuse, by Naoki Prize winner Kazuki Sakuraba, was released in theaters across Japan in October. Here's the world of an animation director now in his prime!
