"Bringing the family together to enjoy Japanese food in home kitchens around the world."

Harumi Kurihara, with her 5 years' career of conveying the fascination of Japanese food in 'Your Japanese Kitchen', is now taking on a new challenge to introduce Japanese cuisine to parents and children in 'Harumi's Family Cooking'.

In this program, families from around the world will try out Harumi's original recipe which is supported by traditional Japanese culinary skills, and through their experiences, we suggest a lifestyle where the whole family enjoys food and food culture together.

MC is George Williams, well-known from 'Your Japanese Kitchen', with his daughter Vivian as guest. Families invited from the Philippines and the US will join them to prepare 3 dishes, 'Tsukune with Teriyaki Sauce' and 'Inside-Out Sushi Rolls' for fun family cooking, and 'Pancakes' made from scratch by the kids.

Easy to follow instructions with useful tips cater to everyone, and explanation of the very basic skills of home cooking are given throughout the program. Honest remarks and downright questions pop out from the children, and unpredictable talks roll on.

Learn how to cook Japanese cuisine, while being acquainted with the whole range of 'food culture', including the lore, manners and the equipment. A program to bring your family even closer!

  1. Thank you! Did NHK World stop showing "Your Japanese Kitchen"?

I can't re-post files, sorry. The exception is files that are less than a day old. All mediafire links are broken forever. If you ask nicely and show that you tried but couldn't find the file elsewhere, someone may share it again.
