We feature the Ninja Gaiden series of ninja action-adventure games so hugely popular overseas. Developed by TECMO KOEI GAMES, the million-seller series for veteran players has won the best action-adventure game of the year award on a foreign videogame information website and is one of the company's very biggest products. The latest title, NINJA GAIDEN3 - the first in 4 years! - finally hit the shelves in March and is making waves all over the world! The key attraction is the ultra-cool hero, the legendary ninja Ryu Hayabusa, who stands up to evil and splatters the blood of villains wherever he goes. Hard-core action-game players love the violence! The new game has been upgraded with a multi-play function for combat between teams of up to 4 players on each side. The developers have also added more foreign perceptions of ninja to the old Team Ninja model with the cooperation of Hollywood movie staff. Producer Yosuke Hayashi says he wants game players around the world to be ninj a themselves. He tells us how to enjoy NINJA GAIDEN to the full!

Creator's interview: Cozy Jokura Japanese Manga Artist
Cozy Jokura creates works across the categories from battling athletes to love comedies. Jokura started out as a graphic designer for eight years but also made manga on the side, sent them to publishers and, at the age of 25, won the rookie's award of a manga magazine. He made his manga debut in Weekly Big Comic Spirits in 1989. His works include Sabaku no yakyuubu, Ore wa captain, and Gurazeni. His comics about baseball players are especially popular.
