NIPPON STYLE:
Bead embroidery designer's glittering gowns - Keiji Tagawa
Keiji Tagawa has been embroidering haute couture items with beads for 23 years. He is best known for his dresses and gowns but also decorates kimonos, accessories, decorative art and even pictures as well. Tagawa set up his studio in India as a young man and taught himself the traditional ways of Indian bead embroidery. He keeps some 20,000 different types of material in his atelier to create his fine and complex 3-D shading, tints, sparkle effects and gradation. Tagawa says the great charm of bead embroidery lies in the shifting reflections produced when the beads move. He gets his models to move about while producing his clothes in order to observe the light patterns. We watch as this charismatic artist seeks to express all the beauty of the world through beads.

Baggy pants are in - sarouel or oversized and patterned. There is plenty to coordinate here just by adding that sarouel touch to your everyday jeans! Baggy pants go well with sneakers, too, but for that special feminine touch, try pumps!
