This travel program gives you the mountaineering experience, a growing trend among the young, only much easier. With the well experienced guide leading the way, subjective images makes you feel as if you are climbing the mountain on your own feet. The program encompasses the full lure of the mountains including alpine flora, living creatures such as birds and butterflies, and heavenly sprig water, together with the dynamic aerial shoots of captivating peaks.

Mount Miyanoura sits high in Yakushima Island, a World Heritage Site. We follow the traditional Takemairi ritual based on ancient mountain worship, and trail up the historical path from the shore. Near the entrance you see subtropical plants, then walk by the grand fall through the canyon and enter the 'mossy forest' made by the highest annual precipitation in Japan. Continue your way to the Yakusugi cedar tree forest aging over 1000 years, and meet the oldest cedar tree living from the ancient times, Jomon Sugi. Ascend through the flower garden nearest to heaven, and reach the summit of the so called 'Alps on the ocean'.
