Nuclear-Themed Artworks

Modern artist Kenji Yanobe has been creating works based on the theme of nuclear weapons and nuclear reactors for more than 20 years. At this month's Fukushima Biennale 2012, he displayed a large sculpture entitled Sun Child, which he designed to convey his message of hope. Our report explores the artist's reasons for devoting himself to the nuclear theme.
