To get the most out of a mountain bike trip through Kyushu, it's best to travel with a guide who knows the local terrain.

What makes this waterfall so special is that visitors can walk right behind it, where the rock has been eroded. At night, the waterfall is illuminated, creating a wonderful atmosphere.
By car, leave the Oita Expressway at the Amagase Takatsuka interchange. Then take prefectural Road 54, and then R210it in the direction of Kusu Town (about 30 minutes).
