Hanmmer champion,Koji Murofushi
37-year old hammer thrower Koji Murofushi won his 18th straight title at the recent All-Japan Athletic Championships and represents Japan again at the London Olympic Games. We discover his unending drive and also special motivation for these Olympics based on his interaction with senior high school pupils he visited last year in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, one of the places devastated by the earthquake and tsunami.
Murofushi's father, Shigenobu Murofushi, also won the Japanese title ten times in a row. He threw his best ever distance at the age of thirty-nine! Known as the Asian Ironman, he unusually in those days recorded images of his own throwing technique for personal study and passed that same thirst for improvement on his son, Koji.

Kumi Otoshi, Race Walker
Otoshi started athletics with the resolve to make the very most of her youth and now takes on the world as a Japanese representative in the walking race. We look into the form - described as the world's most beautiful - which produces the speed.

Masaki Ito, Trampoline
Team gold and individual silver medalist at the 2011 world championships, he is a strong medal hopeful in London, too. We analyze the trademark height of his leaps.
