Nodate - A Japanese Picnic
Office workers in Tokyo's parks appreciating a cup of tea outdoors during the lunch break...
Increasing numbers of young people now enjoy this outdoor version of the tea ceremony.
Akiko Ogihara - Contemporary Tea Ceremony Producer.
She is the lady credited with sparking this nodate fad. She selected a diverse array of implements, including coffee bowls, and organized nodate parties in various places from the seaside to the mountains.
Akiko Ogihara says, "I think the big attraction is the fun of doing this freely in the middle of nature. I guess everyone enjoys it as a Japanese picnic."
The nodate is tea drinking in contact with nature. Participants don't insist on the old tea ceremony forms but simply enjoy it in their own way.
Nodate is an activity that links hearts over a cup of tea. With just a little embellishment, participants are quickly enveloped in the aesthetic sensibility of a full-fledged tea ceremony. We examine the beauty of the picnic-style nodate.

I can't re-post files, sorry. The exception is files that are less than a day old. All mediafire links are broken forever. If you ask nicely and show that you tried but couldn't find the file elsewhere, someone may share it again.
