Harumi Kurihara, with her 5 years' career of conveying the fascination of Japanese food through our cooking program 'Your Japanese Kitchen', now introduces Japanese dishes to parents and children in 'Harumi's Family Cooking'.

In this series, families from around the world will try out Harumi's original recipe backed up by traditional Japanese culinary skills, and through their experiences, we suggest a lifestyle where the whole family enjoys food and food culture together.

This second edition is brought to you from Harumi's home town Shimoda in Shizuoka Prefecture.

Tina and Vivienne Williams, wife and daughter of our presenter George Williams, along with local family from Izu join Harumi to introduce 3 dishes.

Adding on extra ingredients to standard home cooking Gomoku-mame is her original 'Hachimoku-mame (Simmered soy Beans and Vegetables)'.

'Deep fried Mackerel Dumplings', recipe passed down from Harumi's mother, and Kurihara family's all-time favorite 'Almond Cookies' join the list.

Plus, learn about Japanese ingredients such as wasabi and katsuobushi in our bits & tips section.

I can't re-post files, sorry. The exception is files that are less than a day old. All mediafire links are broken forever. If you ask nicely and show that you tried but couldn't find the file elsewhere, someone may share it again.
