Chugging toward restoration: Sanriku Railway

Fifty of the world's most popular characters have come together to support a restoration project in Japan's disaster-hit northeast.

The world-famous Miffy and Japanese robot Doraemon are among those adorning a train running through scenic Iwate Prefecture. Last year's earthquake and tsunami devastated the prefecture's infrastructure, and many sections of its rail track have yet to be rebuilt.

Illustrators and copyright holders gave up their usual fee to offer their creations to local train operator Sanriku Railway. It's the first time all these famous faces have joined forces on a single project.

I can't re-post files, sorry. The exception is files that are less than a day old. All mediafire links are broken forever. If you ask nicely and show that you tried but couldn't find the file elsewhere, someone may share it again.
