Singapore Playing Cupid
Singapore faces a declining birth rate that could threaten the stability of the nation. Considered one of the most rapid fertility declines in Asia, the average number of children per woman currently stands at only 1.2.
In a unique strategy to help overcome the crisis, the government has begun funding matchmaking organizations. The hope is that through such efforts, the dating agencies' members will meet a partner, get married and ultimately start having children.
In this episode we follow one of Singapore's top matchmakers and the lives of several singles searching for their ideal mate.
