Tokyo rent-a-thon

Tokyo rent-a-thon. The big city offers all kinds of rental options. This time we go in search of special Tokyo rental services that can make life easier for the tourist and other temporary visitor.
Bike-sharing (2 min. 44 sec. )

Getting around is fun when you can enjoy the breeze and go where you like, with no worries about traffic jams.

Tokyo has picked up on the rental system known as "bike-sharing". People can return bikes at a number of different sites around the city.

First, you register using a cell phone or computer - even if it's just for one day.
Toden Arakawa Line and Cell phone (4 min. 26 sec. )

The Toden Arakawa Line runs streetcars on a 12-kilometer route linking Tokyo's older neighborhoods with areas near Shinjuku. It's a single-car-only service, and it's been around for nearly 40 years.

And you can rent the whole car yourself! Reservations are required, but you can even select what type of car you want.
Limousine taxi (4 min. 14 sec. )

A guide who knows all about the city is a big plus for any tourist. Let's hire one!

Today he's taking a few tourists fresh off the plane to see some of Tokyo's major destinations.

Any number of routes are possible. Tell the company in advance your destinations, desired souvenirs, and time available, and you'll get a custom tour just for you.
A self-study space and share house (4 min. 41 sec. )

A self-study space. People come here to study for various kinds of qualifications. Basically it's a club, but drop-ins are allowed, and the space you rent can also be used as an office.

Copy machines and shredders are available. For an extra fee, there are meeting rooms too. Coffee and tea are completely free.
Camping area in Toyosu (2 min. 08 sec. )

Toyosu, 15 minutes from Ginza by train, has a 1.6 hectare area for camping. You're right next to Tokyo Bay, with the dynamic Tokyo cityscape as the backdrop to your choice of outdoor activities.

That might well include a barbeque. The equipment, tables, benches, and basic shelter can all be hired. The full deal includes food, and the staff will clean up after you! This great service is 4,500 yen a person, and you're free to bring drinks.

I can't re-post files, sorry. The exception is files that are less than a day old. All mediafire links are broken forever. If you ask nicely and show that you tried but couldn't find the file elsewhere, someone may share it again.
